Technology Networks: Enhancing Efficiency and Quality in Biopharmaceutical Manufacturing

Lean manufacturing – streamlining manufacturing processes to optimize productivity and reduce waste – has the potential to transform biopharmaceutical production.

This webinar will explore how eliminating non-value-adding steps within manufacturing can boost consistency and reliability in production, which in turn enhances facility efficiency.

Our expert speaker will focus on the role of pre-packed chromatography columns in lean manufacturing, discussing how to incorporate them into biopharmaceutical production to enhance operation efficiency, reduce costs and support more reliable and productive outcomes.

Attend this webinar to:

  • Learn about the benefits of adopting a lean manufacturing approach across process development, clinical manufacturing and commercial production
  • Explore the strategic advantages of incorporating pre-packed chromatography columns into biopharmaceutical manufacturing
  • Discover how to ensure consistent process outcomes and better compliance with regulatory standards

Presenter: Adam Nelson (Chromatography Product Manager at Repligen Corporation)

Adam Nelson has 14 years of experience in pre-packed chromatography column manufacturing and product development. In his current role as product manager for OPUS large scale pre-packed chromatography columns, he is responsible for new product development, product line extensions and product innovation. In prior roles, Adam developed packing protocols that enable OPUS pre-packed chromatography column packing technology. Additionally, Adam led the team responsible for materials management, process control, and process development for OPUS large scale chromatography column manufacturing. He has a passion for customer service and leveraging his technical expertise to deliver an optimal customer experience. Adam holds a bachelor's in chemical engineering from the University of Massachusetts Amherst and a graduate's certificate in innovation management from Northeastern University.
