Agilent Technologies: Green Button Go in Action: Case Study of an Agilent-GBG Integrated Workflow

Join us for a session focused on integrated lab automation tailored specifically for Agilent users. In this talk, Chaz Childers, Applications Scientist at Biosero, will dive into the practical applications of Biosero’s Green Button Go (GBG) software. In his talk, Chaz will explore how GBG seamlessly integrates hardware and software, optimizing your workflow.

To illustrate a fully automated system, Chaz will discuss a recent system that harnessed the Agilent Prep system as its core. We'll also delve into the automated liquid handler’s role, custom-designed labware considerations, and strategic software integrations—all orchestrated through GBG. By the end of this session, you’ll gain insights into the adaptability and efficiency of automated systems powered by GBG and how it can drive greater integration with your Agilent devices.

Presenter: Chazman Childers (Field Applications Scientist, Biosero)

Chaz Childers is an Applications Scientist at Biosero where he optimizes automation processes for laboratories around the world. He began his career as a researcher at Harvard Medical School, conducting research on atherosclerosis using chemoinformatics. Chaz transitioned from the bench to supporting scientists in the lab at Opentrons, where he led the Applications Engineering team. He has also provided freelance automation consulting services through Childers.IO, assisting various startups, including one that developed the world’s first single-molecule protein sequencer. Chaz now uses his scientific and lab automation expertise to partner with scientists who are deploying Green Button Go and integrated workcells to accelerate research.
