Advantages of HRMS for Quantitative Workflows

An introduction to accurate mass and Quadrupole-Time-of-Flight technology with SCIEX
Until recently, nominal mass triple quadrupole technology was considered the gold standard for quantitative assays. In contrast, high-resolution mass spectrometry was primarily used for qualitative, semi-quantitative, and non-targeted workflows, such as metabolite identification, screening, and X-Omics. However, advancements in technology, including faster scan speeds and improved ion optics, have expanded the capabilities of high-resolution spectrometry. Now, it can be effectively applied to both qualitative and quantitative workflows.
The ZenoTOF 7600 system, with its high scan rates and enhanced duty cycle at the MS2 level, bridges the gap between these approaches, offering a greater return on investment by reducing data acquisition times and maintaining sensitivity without compromising data quality. This webinar series will focus on how to transition from the Triple Quad to a high-resolution environment for different applications.
This webinar series will contain 3 parts. Each part will be 20 minutes with a 10 minute Q&A.
Part 2: Advantages of HRMS for Quantitative Workflows
- Efficiency and Cost Savings: Discover how HRMS quantitation can significantly reduce time and expenses
- Seamless Transition: Learn the steps to transition your established MRM assays to MRMHR with ease
- Streamlined Processes: Explore methods to streamline the entire workflow from biomarker discovery to quantitation
