Technology Networks: Modernization of Liquid Chromatography Methods

Modernization of liquid chromatography (LC) methods is critical for lab productivity and sustainability as well as for keeping up to date with regulatory guidelines. This webinar features two expert speakers who will share insights into the latest LC methods and technologies.

Rongjie Fu will cover how to modernize method transfers and adjustments based on revisions to the United States Pharmacopeia (USP), exploring how this can improve lab productivity.

Dr. Monique Paré Speirs will then demonstrate how inefficient high-performance LC methods can be overhauled with updated technology to enhance lab sustainability without compromising method accuracy and precision.

Attend this webinar to:
  • Learn how to combine classic single-analyte methods to more efficient multi-analyte methods
  • Discover the importance of LC-friendly method development for preventative maintenance of columns and instruments
  • Gain insights into how to improve lab efficiency and sustainability with modernized column technology
  • Understand the difference between newly revised and original version of USP <621>

Presenter: Rongjie Fu (Application Scientist, Agilent Technologies)

Rongjie Fu received a master’s degree in pharmaceutics from Shanghai University of TCM and is currently working at Agilent Technologies as an application scientist.

Presenter: Monique Paré Speirs, PhD (Analytical Chemist, Rhyz Analytical Labs)

Monique Paré Speirs is a researcher and method developer for Rhyz Analytical Labs (a Nu Skin company). She has collaborated with Agilent on development projects and her appreciation for Agilent LC technology originated from her experience with Agilent LC/MS systems during her graduate work in the John C. Price Lab at Brigham Young University.
