Tackling toxicology challenges with SCIEX technology

Join us for an insightful session on SCIEX advanced forensic screening and quantitation solutions, designed to tackle the evolving challenges in the forensic toxicology laboratory.

Discover how accurate mass spectrometry and high-sensitivity workflows empower forensic laboratories to detect and quantify a broad spectrum of compounds with confidence, including new psychoactive substances (NPS).

We will showcase the capabilities of the ZenoTOF 7600 system for drug screening, characterization, and identification, as well as the utility of the vMethod for NPS screening. The presentations will also highlight the improvements in speed, sensitivity, and analyte coverage using our SCIEX 7500+ system, as well as the benefits of the QTRAP systems for fast, selective, and confident detection and identification of NPS from human whole blood.

Learn how our solutions streamline complex analyses, reduce false positives, and enhance data reliability.

Hear from experts on real-world applications, including emerging drug trends and regulatory demands. Whether you are focused on toxicology, drug screening, or forensic casework, this summit will provide actionable insights to elevate your lab’s performance.

Speaker: Dr. Jianru Stahl-Zeng

Jianru is Senior Technical Marketing Manager. She has been part of SCIEX since 2001. She initially was part of the application support team and covered not only proteomics, but also small molecules applications. Jianru moved to technical marketing and focused on food and environmental applications. Since 2018 she has been managing the EMEA technical marketing team and projects. Jianru is also the Global Technical Leader for food and environmental applications.

Speaker: Aymeric Morla

Aymeric is Applications Lead for Clinical & Forensic solutions, based in Paris. With a background in biochemistry, he developed his expertise in clinical and forensic analysis during the last 18 years. He works closely with forensic laboratories across Europe, helping them implement and optimize mass spectrometry workflows for toxicology, drug screening, and trace analysis. Aymeric brings hands-on expertise in regulated environments and is passionate about translating complex analytical technologies into practical, high-impact forensic applications.

Speaker: Oscar Quintela

Oscar earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Santiago de Compostela, followed by a PhD with European doctorate distinction, Maxima Cum Laude, supported by a Ministry of Science and Education grant. His career has focused on clinical and forensic toxicology, including doctoral research on detecting psychotropic drugs in biological samples via LC-MS/MS for driving population studies. Supported by a fellowship from the National Institute on Drug Abuse (NIH, USA), he continued researching drugs of abuse during his postdoctoral stage. After over 12 years at the Spanish Ministry of Justice, he joined SCIEX about three years ago.
