Thermo Fisher Scientific: IC Nitrite Analysis: Streamlined Workflows for Reliable Quantification

Ion Chromatography (IC) is a critical analytical technique for ensuring drug product safety through accurate and reliable nitrite analysis. This webinar explores how IC is applied across pharmaceutical workflows to quantify nitrite in water, excipients, and finished drug products—supporting effective monitoring and control of nitrosamine impurity risk during manufacturing and storage.

Attendees will learn how streamlined IC workflows, combined with conductivity, UV-Vis, and mass spectrometry detection, enable sensitive and robust nitrite quantification. The session highlights analytical capabilities, best practices, and practical considerations for implementing IC methods that enhance data confidence, support regulatory compliance, and improve overall product quality.
