Targeted MS2 Hybrid DIA

Combining a targeted peptide quantitative analysis with a data independent acquisition analysis is gaining popularity. Such approaches are referred to as “hybrid DIA” methods (e.g., targeted MS2 hybrid DIA, SureQuant hybrid DIA). They offer sensitive and accurate quantification of selected peptides (targeted MS2 experiment) while simultaneously allowing for a proteome-wide discovery proteomics (DIA experiment).
This free online workshop will provide the participants with a solid overview of targeted MS2 (PRM) hybrid DIA strategy.
- In the first part, we will review details of instrument method setup on Thermo Scientific Orbitrap Astral mass spectrometer.
- In the second part, we will follow step-by-step the data processing of hybrid DIA files in Proteome Discoverer.
- The focus of the workshop is on workflows and parameters related to targeted peptide quantification.
The participants will be able to request example .RAW files to complement the material presented during the workshop (requires PD 3.3 version).
The workshop will be recorded and made available to all registered participants.
The presentation slides, featuring a step-by-step guide to processing targeted MS2 hybrid DIA data files, can be downloaded after the session.
The workshop is aimed at both novice and intermediate users. We have planned in time to answer your questions.
