Imaging and top-down analysis of intact protein complexes in tissue

In situ native proteomics: Imaging and top-down analysis of intact protein complexes in tissue
Join this webinar to hear about latest methods and advances for probing intact protein complexes in tissue using in situ native mass spectrometry.
Native ambient mass spectrometry (NAMS) enables the study of proteins and their complexes directly in tissue. The latest developments in NAMS will be presented, including innovative MS imaging and on-tissue native top-down MS workflows.
Topics will include:
- Analysis of membrane proteins
- Identification of protein-metal complexes implicated in neurodegenerative disease.

Presenter: Dr. Oliver Hale (Senior Postdoctoral Research Fellow, University of Birmingham)
Dr. Oliver Hale is a senior postdoctoral research fellow in the lab of Professor Helen Cooper at the University of Birmingham and has a secondment at the Rosalind Franklin Institute (RFI). Across both institutions, his research focus is the development of native ambient mass spectrometry (NAMS) encompassing MS imaging of intact protein complexes, native top-down MS and instrument/method development. Oliver has presented at multiple international conferences and was a tutor at the American Society for Mass Spectrometry’s Fall Workshop on Native Mass Spectrometry.
