Bettina is a Senior Global Product Manager and Lead Expert for Titration at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. With over 30 years of experience in instrumental analysis, diagnostics, and reference materials, she specializes in titration and Karl Fischer titration. She is dedicated to enhancing and streamlining titration processes, driving the development of innovative technologies, advancing applications and reagents, and providing expert support to both customers and colleagues.

She works closely with quality control and application laboratories, as well as the Research and Development department, to ensure continuous improvement in titration methodologies. Bettina holds a degree in Chemical Technology from the University of Applied Sciences, Darmstadt, Germany, and is a qualified Medical Technical Laboratory Assistant from the Medical Technical Academy Esslingen, Germany.

Presenter: Christian Roth (Senior Global Product Manager Inorganic Reagents, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany)

Christian Roth is a Senior Product Manager for Classical Inorganics at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany, where he has dedicated over 25 years to managing a diverse portfolio that includes salts, acids, caustic alkalis, bases, metals, and metal oxides of analytical purity.

With a degree in International Business Management, Christian combines his extensive technical knowledge with a strong foundation in global business strategies. His expertise ensures that the products under his purview not only meet but exceed the rigorous requirements of analytical laboratories, addressing critical chemical, regulatory, and safety standards, and ultimately delivering exceptional value to customers.

Presenter: Dr. Patrik Appelblad (Fellow and Technical lead, Chemistry R&D,  Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany)

Patrik is passionate about simplifying science, advancing instrumental analysis, assisting the scientific community in solving problems, as well as sharing knowledge through modern channels and diverse methods. Holding a PhD in Analytical Chemistry from Umea University, Sweden, Patrik brings almost 25 years of experience from various R&D and marketing roles within the company. This extensive background equips him well as a technical lead and spokesperson on a range of topics, including PFAS Testing.

Presenter: Patric Klein (Senior Global Product Manager; Organic and Inorganics Instrumental Analysis, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany)

Patric Klein is a Senior Global Product Manager for Organic and Inorganic Reagents for Instrumental Analysis at Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany. With over 20 years of experience at Merck, he has developed a strong expertise in managing high-purity reagents for instrumental analysis. His focus includes high-purity acids for AAS and ICP applications, as well as high-purity reagents for chromatography techniques such as IC, HPLC and LC-MS. Patric holds a Master's degree in Chemical Engineering which underpins his extensive knowledge and contributions to the field.

Presenter: Lena Werner (Senior Global Product Manager Specialty Solvents, Merck KGaA, Darmstadt, Germany)

Lena Werner is a Senior Global Product Manager for Specialty Solvents at Merck Life Science KGaA Darmstadt with nearly 20 years of experience in analytical solvents. She manages specialty solvents, including anhydrous, deuterated and PFAS-tested solvents. Lena holds a degree in Business Administration from Baden-Wuerttemberg Cooperative State University Mannheim, focusing on marketing, production, and logistics. At Merck, she has managed various product portfolios, including managing classical solvents for quality control and high-purity solvents for gas chromatography and spectroscopy.
