Waters Corporation: Upcoming events

Join us for the first in our Small Molecules, Big Impact series, where we introduce the MaxPeak Premier technology - a transformative liquid chromatography technology designed to overcome longstanding challenges in analytical separations. MaxPeak Premier integrates MaxPeak High Performance Surfaces (HPS) Technology, redefining chromatographic performance by minimizing non-specific adsorption, reducing variability, and dramatically improving analyte recovery and sensitivity.

In this first webinar we will introduce MaxPeak Premier Columns and highlight at a high level what the technology is, how it works, and what products employ this technology. Specific examples will be shown of how the technology can improve separations without diving too deeply into any specific application area. People who routinely experience issues surrounding non-specific adsorption, particularly of acidic analytes would benefit from this webinar. This webinar is especially valuable for discovery scientists who routinely face challenges with non-specific adsorption, such as poor recovery or inconsistent chromatographic behavior of acidic or metal-sensitive analytes.

Who should attend

  • Analytical chemists who work with acidic analytes, or have experienced issues with non-specific adsorption. Method development scientists support discovery and research will also get some benefit from this talk.
  • This webinar is especially valuable for discovery scientists in small molecule drug discovery and development who routinely face challenges with non-specific adsorption, such as poor recovery or inconsistent chromatographic behavior of acidic or metal-sensitive analytes. Whether you’re in method development, advanced separation science, or routine analysis, you’ll come away with a clear understanding of how MaxPeak Premier can enhance your LC results.

Why you should attend

Attendees will learn about MaxPeak Premier Technology. We will first start with the issues that MaxPeak HPS addresses, and how they manifest in chromatographic results. Next we will discuss, briefly, the work-arounds that have been employed in the past. Lastly the MaxPeak Premier solution will be re-introduced with a focus on what the technology is, and how it can improve separations by eliminating the secondary interactions between analyte and column/system hardware.

In this session, we’ll cover:
  • What MaxPeak Premier technology is: the foundational science behind MaxPeak HPS and how it alters surface interactions to reduce unpredictable analyte losses in chromatography.
  • How it works: insights into surface-optimized hardware and column chemistry that mitigate metal-sensitive and other adsorptive interactions without extensive column or system passivation.
  • The product landscape: an overview of MaxPeak Premier columns across chemistries and formats in discovery research, so you can begin to see where this technology fits within your own workflows.
  • Practical benefits: real examples showing improved peak shape, reproducibility, and sensitivity, and how these advantages translate into greater confidence in your data without delving into narrow application niches.
