Stop Guessing, Start Separating - A Smarter Path to Robust LC Methods

Overview

Developing robust LC methods doesn’t need to rely on trial and error. In this webinar, we introduce a systematic, tiered approach to chromatographic method development - from verifying system health and understanding instrument dispersion to screening multiple column chemistries and optimizing for selectivity and robustness.

Through a real-world case study, we demonstrate how to separate a complex steroid mixture using six different column chemistries, including our new ACQUITY™ Biphenyl RP column, which delivers notable selectivity advantages for this challenging application.

Join us to see how a structured screening strategy can accelerate method development and help you make confident, data-driven decisions for your next chromatographic challenge.

Why Attend?

  • Improve method robustness with a structured development strategy
  • Reduce guesswork and accelerate column selection decisions
  • Compare multiple column chemistries for challenging separations
  • Understand how system dispersion impacts chromatographic performance
  • Apply a proven workflow to your next LC method challenge

Speaker: Tobias Langrock (Senior Application Specialist Chemistry, Europe, Waters Corporation)

During his time as a PhD student Tobias discovered his passion for LC and LC-MS/MS and has not lost it since. Joining Waters in 2008 was the perfect opportunity to expand his understanding and expertise in chromatography and mass spectrometry. Since then, he has been involved with a very wide range of instruments and applications, whether small or large molecules, reversed phase LC, IEX or SEC, SFC or GPC. His focus is always on the customers and their daily chromatographic challenges.
