A Practical Webinar for Wastewater Testing and Compliance Professionals

Nitrogen analysis plays a critical role in wastewater treatment, compliance monitoring, and nutrient management, yet selecting the right method and interpreting results correctly can be complex. In this webinar, we’ll break down the most common nitrogen parameters, including ammonia, nitrate/nitrite, TKN, and total nitrogen, and explain how these measurements support both regulatory reporting and process control.

Attendees will gain practical insight into commonly used analytical methods, sample handling and QA/QC best practices, and how to avoid common reporting and interpretation mistakes. We’ll also review real-world scenarios involving nitrification, denitrification, permit compliance, and troubleshooting elevated nitrogen results.

Whether you work in a laboratory, wastewater treatment facility, or environmental compliance role, this session will provide the clarity and confidence needed to improve data quality, optimize operations, and make informed nitrogen testing decisions.

Key takeaways

  • Understand key nitrogen methods and reporting requirements
  • Improve testing accuracy with better QA/QC and sample handling
  • Gain practical insights for compliance, troubleshooting, and process optimization

Who should attend

This webinar is designed for you if you are:

  • Analytical Chemist
  • QA Manager
  • Process Engineer
  • Wastewater Operator
