Antibody-drug conjugates (ADCs) and antibody-oligonucleotide conjugates (AOCs) represent a growing class of next-generation biotherapeutics, offering targeted delivery of highly potent payloads. However, their structural complexity—combining proteins, linkers, and small molecule or oligonucleotide components—introduces significant analytical challenges, including characterization of labile modifications, payload distribution, and low-abundance species.

Presenter: Haichuan Liu PhD (Staff Scientist – Biopharma | SCIEX)

Haichuan Liu is currently a Staff Scientist at SCIEX. He specializes in the characterization of antibody- and oligonucleotide-based therapeutics using a variety of LC-MS approaches. Haichuan is an author of over 50 peer-reviewed articles. He has also published numerous technical notes on biotherapeutic characterization.

Presenter: Jingwen Ding (Senior Technical Product Manager | SCIEX)

Jingwen Ding is a Senior Technical Product Manager at SCIEX, where she is focused on the development and refinement of icIEF-UV/MS workflows to address the need for reliable charge heterogeneity information. She earned her PhD in Chemistry from the University of Connecticut and her undergraduate degree from Nankai University.
