Thermo Fisher Scientific: Future-Proofing Emerging Contaminants in Food Analysis
Thermo Fisher Scientific: Future-Proofing Emerging Contaminants in Food Analysis

As PFAS regulations continue to evolve, laboratories face increasing pressure to detect a broader range of compounds while maintaining confidence, efficiency, and regulatory readiness. Traditional targeted methods remain essential, but growing awareness of emerging PFAS is driving the need for more comprehensive analytical strategies.

Join us for a webinar exploring the latest advances in high-resolution mass spectrometry and intelligent data analysis that enable more comprehensive PFAS characterization in food and food-contact material testing.

You will learn how to:

  • Expand PFAS detection beyond targeted analysis
  • Improve confidence in identifying known and emerging PFAS
  • Streamline PFAS identification with intelligent data analysis workflows
  • Stay ahead of evolving food safety testing requirements

The webinar concludes with a live panel discussion moderated by Dr. Dasharath P. Oulkar (Thermo Fisher Scientific). Joined by invited customer speakers, the panel will explore the growing focus on PFAS in seafood, discussing current analytical challenges, regulatory considerations, and practical approaches to testing.

English subtitles will be provided for this webinar and a Certificate of Attendance will be awarded to all attendees of the live webcast.

Presenter: Jeremy Koelmel, Ph.D. (Associate Research Scientist in Epidemiology, Yale University)

Panel Discussion: Dasharath P. Oulkar, Ph.D. (Manager, FSSAI-Thermo Fisher Scientific Food Safety Solution Center, Ghaziabad, Thermo Fisher Scientific, India)

Dr Dasharath P. Oulkar has 20+ years of experience in the area of food safety and quality testing and extensive technical experience various chromatography, mass spectrometry and sample preparation techniques required for food safety, authenticity and quality. He is currently working in collaboration with FSSAI to develop new methods and supporting various food laboratories across APJ.
