This year, Boston University's Professor Jospeh Zaia saw his group's focus pivot from Influenza A to SAR-CoV-2 in support of global COVID-19 efforts.

This webinar will highlight the challenges of viral glycosylation and its important role in vaccine development and efficacy as well as the assignment of site-specific glycosylations of the coronavirus spike protein.

Joseph has been a Professor of Biochemistry at Boston University since 1999. Prior to that, he worked as Research Technician for Harvard Medical School. He received his PhD from Massachusetts Institute of Technology in 1993.
