Agilent Technologies: Resolve More Isoforms with the New Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio LC System

Charge variant analysis is a demanding application for applied liquid chromatography systems due to the use of highly corrosive buffer salts in combination with very shallow gradients for optimal separation. (1) Reproducible gradient formation is essential for successful chromatography and the Agilent 1290 Infinity II Bio LC line combines a completely iron-free flow path with the functionality of binary or quaternary pumping systems.

The 1290 Bio High Speed pump offers excellent reproducibility for highly challenging shallow gradients and the 1290 Bio Flexible pump provides time saving method development features that can deliver exceptional resolution with minimal buffer preparation. The 1290 Infinity II Bio LC Systems, with a completely iron-free flow path, are optimally suited for the conditions used in biochromatography— avoiding potentially corrosive damage to the system, and excellent reproducibility confirms the 1290 Infinity II Bio LC as the next generation of Agilent high-end liquid chromatography systems for high confidence in generated data.
