Agilent Technologies: Automated Sample prep and Beyond

The Agilent AssayMAP platform is a powerful yet easy-to-use automation solution specifically designed for biomolecule sample preparation. AssayMAP microchromatography cartridges, combined with optimized protocols on the AssayMAP robot, enable non-automation experts to use automation to increase precision and scalability while decreasing the labor and human interaction. The AssayMAP platform supports a broad range of protein quantification and characterization workflows.

Steve Murphy, Ph.D. (AssayMAP Product Owner, Agilent Technologies, Inc.)

Steve received his Ph.D. from the University of California, San Francisco where he studied tyrosine kinase regulation. Steve’s post-doctoral work was performed at Stanford University where he studied microtubule nucleation by gamma-tubulin complex. Steve then joined Athersys, , where he lead an assay development and high throughput screening team. He next joined Life Technologies where he managed a team responsible for technology transfer, manufacturing, and quality control testing of high throughput assays. For the last 10 years, Steve has lead the develop of various automated protein sample prep workflows on the AssayMAP Bravo platform.
