Matrix certified oil reference material for cannabinoid content
- Analytika: Matrix certified oil reference material for cannabinoid content
Certified reference material of MCT oil with medium-long chain triglycerides AN-BM04 prepared by the method of addition of hemp extract and individual phytocannabinoids. Selected cannabinoids are certified.
Analytes: CBD, CBDA, Δ9-THC, Δ9-THCA-A, CBN, CBG, CBC, CBGA, CBDV, CBCA, THCV, CBL.
Packaging: 3.0 ml of oil in a dark glass bottle.
Use: This certified reference material is intended to provide metrological continuity, validate analytical methods and assign values to other materials of similar composition.
Recommended analytical methods for the measurands: Liquid chromatography
Expiration date: 2 years from the date of manufacture
This material has been prepared in cooperation with the Metrology and Testing Laboratory at Department of food analysis and nutrition, University of Chemical Technology Prague, accredited according to ČSN EN ISO/IEC 17025:2018, where the homogeneity and stability of the material was also tested.
More detailed information on the preparation, homogeneity testing and characterization of this CRM is provided in the certification report, which is available to interested parties upon request.
Analytika: Cannabinoids in MTC oil (METRANAL - CRM)
Metrological follow-up:
Metrological continuity is ensured by the use of certified calibration solutions for calibration of measurement methods (direct link to SI unit) or by parallel analysis of matrix CRMs (RM) of similar composition.
Homogeneity and stability:
Homogeneity and short-term stability have been demonstrated according to TNI guideline ISO 35.
Certified and indicative values and their uncertainties:
The certified and indicative values for each cannabinoid are given in Table 1. The overall averages of the received laboratory values were assigned the status of certified and indicative values when the following criteria were met: a certified value was derived from at least five received data sets, an indicative value from at least three received data sets. The combined uncertainties listed are dominated by the contribution of uncertainty in the characterisation of the relevant property value. The certification study was conducted at international level in the form of an inter-laboratory comparison, with the participation of laboratories with quality assured testing in the field of cannabinoid analysis.

The CRM will be monitored for its shelf life. If there are significant changes to the reported values, Analytika, Ltd. will notify the purchaser.
Storage and instructions for use:
The CRM must be kept and stored in its original packaging at a temperature below -12 °C. The material should be analysed as delivered and should be tempered to 20 °C and rehomogenised by mechanical shaking of the contents before taking an aliquot for analysis. At low temperatures, a solid fraction may be excluded, which will dissolve again on re-extempering. In order to ensure sufficient homogeneity, the recommended minimum weight for analysis is 50 mg.
