43rd Modern Electrochemical Methods

We are pleased to invite you to the traditional spring meeting, the 43rd international conference „Modern Electrochemical Methods“ (MEM), which will take place from May 20th to May 24th, 2024, at the Hotel Bellevue in Jetřichovice (district Děčín).

We are sure that your presentations will contribute to the traditionally high professional level of the conference. Of course, we hope that we will have enough space for discussions and believe that you will keep your favor with us.

The conference is organized in scientific cooperation with the J. Heyrovský Institute of Physical Chemistry of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Prague, with the Institute of Biophysics of the Czech Academy of Sciences, Brno, the Department of Analytical Chemistry, Faculty of Science, Charles University, Prague, and with the Czech Chemical Society. The conference is also sponsored (among others) by the company Metrohm, Czech Republic.

CONFERENCE VENUE

The conference will be held on May 20 th – 24 th, 2024 (Monday to Friday) at the Hotel Bellevue in Jetřichovice. Registration and accommodation start on May 20 th from 4:00 pm at the Hotel Bellevue. Boarding - full board and accommodation will be arranged according to your requirements in your binding application. ATTENTION! Due to the limited capacity of the conference hotel, the number of participants is limited (according to the rule “first come – first served” - the date of the registration is decisive).

• The submitted application is considered to be binding Registration for passive or active participation (together with the title of the contribution) must be sent to the organizer before April 8 th, 2024.

CONFERENCE FEE

• Total 335 €

• The conference fee includes Proceedings, boarding, accommodation, meals, and a trip.

CONTRIBUTIONS TO CONFERENCE PROCEEDINGS

• The complete conference contribution for the conference Proceedings must be submitted electronically no later than April 22 nd, 2024 to [email protected]. Please, respect the deadlines, please!

• The contributions submitted later will not be included in the Proceedings. The conference Proceedings will be published with ISBN, and available on the Internet. The Proceedings have been indexed in the Web of Science - Conference Proceedings Citation Index (Clarivate) database since 2010. We would like to apply again for indexing of our Proceedings from this year in the same database. Therefore, we ask you to strictly follow the instructions for authors - text, table, figure, citation formatting, etc. (according to the attached template). The scope of the contribution has to be a minimum of 3 and a maximum of 5 A4 pages.

• Contributions must be ready for printing (in .doc or .docx format). Submitted contributions that do not follow editorial rules may be excluded from publication. We negotiate the possibility of publishing a special issue of an impacted journal dedicated to this conference, in which selected contributions could be included in an extended form. If you are interested in taking advantage of this opportunity, please indicate this in your registration form.

AVAILABLE PRESENTATION TECHNIQUE

• Data projector, notebook with OS Win 10, MS PowerPoint 365, and USB 2.0.

• The presentations can be uploaded from a USB flash disc.

• Only oral contributions (in Czech, Slovak, or English) are expected.
