The Institute of Microbiology of the Czech Academy of Sciences (IMIC CAS) is the largest research institution in the Czech Republic dedicated to the comprehensive study of microorganisms and their applications in medicine, biotechnology, industry, and environmental sciences. Founded in 1962, the institute brings together approximately 700 employees working in 25 laboratories on more than 160 national and international research projects.

IMIC CAS conducts interdisciplinary research spanning microbiology, molecular biology, immunology, microbial genetics, environmental biotechnology, soil ecology, ecotoxicology, algal biology, and host–pathogen interactions. Research and Development Specialist in Laboratory of Molecular Structure Characterization

We are seeking a qualified and motivated candidate to operate mass spectrometers in the Laboratory of Molecular Structure Characterization. The successful applicant should be a reliable and technically skilled team player, capable of working independently and willing to continue developing their professional expertise.

Requirements:

• Previous experience in mass spectrometry
• Education in a field related to bioanalytical chemistry, biochemistry, or biomedicine
• Willingness to pursue further interdisciplinary training
