
The Blind Common Anabolic Steroid Screening – Oils is a comprehensive laboratory analysis designed to identify and quantify commonly encountered anabolic-androgenic steroids in oil-based samples.
Because this is a blind analysis, there is no need to specify which substance is expected in the sample. The analysis screens for all target compounds listed below and identifies and quantifies every detected substance, including samples containing mixtures of multiple compounds.
Anabolic-androgenic steroids are synthetic derivatives of testosterone or structurally related steroid hormones. They interact with androgen receptors and produce both anabolic effects, associated with tissue and muscle growth, and androgenic effects.
The analysis covers several esterified forms of testosterone, trenbolone, nandrolone, drostanolone, methenolone, and boldenone, as well as testosterone undecanoate, methyltestosterone, trestolone acetate, and dihydrotestosterone (DHT).
Esterification influences properties such as solubility and the rate at which a steroid is released after administration. Different ester forms of the same steroid may therefore differ in their physicochemical and pharmacokinetic characteristics.
Important Notice: The standard detection cutoff is 15 mg/mL. For drostanolone propionate and drostanolone enanthate, the cutoff is 25 mg/mL. Target compounds present below these levels may not be reliably detected or quantified within the standard scope of the analysis.
