Vardenafil analysis

The Vardenafil Analysis is a targeted laboratory test designed to confirm the identity and determine the amount of vardenafil in oral dosage forms and raw active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) powders.

The analysis is suitable for pills, tablets, and capsules, with results reported in milligrams per tablet or capsule. Raw API powders can be evaluated by percentage content, with optional purity reporting in % (m/m).

About Vardenafil

Vardenafil, marketed under names such as Levitra, Staxyn, and Vivanza, is an orally active phosphodiesterase type 5 (PDE5) inhibitor. It inhibits PDE5 and supports the nitric oxide–cGMP signalling pathway involved in smooth muscle relaxation and increased blood flow.

Vardenafil is clinically used for the treatment of erectile dysfunction. It belongs to the same pharmacological class as sildenafil, tadalafil, and avanafil.
