rHGH fragment or AOD-9604 (HPLC) analysisTargeted HPLC analysis of rHGH fragment 176-191 and AOD-9604 in lyophilised vials and raw API powders, including identity, amount, and peptide purity.
Features

rHGH fragment or AOD-9604 (HPLC) analysis

The rHGH Fragment or AOD-9604 (HPLC) Analysis is a targeted laboratory test designed to confirm the identity, determine the amount, and assess the peptide purity of rHGH fragment 176-191 and AOD-9604 in lyophilised vials and raw active pharmaceutical ingredient (API) powders.

The analysis can detect and quantify both compounds. For lyophilised samples, results are reported in milligrams per vial together with peptide purity. Raw API powders can be evaluated using purity in % (m/m) together with peptide purity.

About rHGH Fragment and AOD-9604

rHGH fragment 176-191 is a synthetic peptide corresponding to the C-terminal region of human growth hormone. AOD-9604 is a closely related modified analogue that differs at the N-terminal position, where tyrosine is present instead of phenylalanine.

Both peptides have been studied primarily in relation to lipid metabolism and their effects on adipose tissue. AOD-9604 was developed from research investigating the metabolic activity of the C-terminal region of human growth hormone.

Important Notice

  • rHGH fragment and AOD-9604 samples may have solubility issues during sample preparation.
  • Ultrapure water is used as the default solvent. If a stronger solvent is required, 5% acetic acid or DMSO can be selected as an additional service.
  • Both DMSO and 5% acetic acid should dissolve AOD samples completely, although the choice of solvent may affect the analytical results. Samples prepared with water have a higher probability of solubility issues.
  • This analysis is specifically intended for rHGH fragment 176-191 and AOD-9604. It does not automatically screen the sample for other growth hormone fragments, related peptides, degradation products, contaminants, or undeclared substances.
  • For lyophilised samples, one whole unopened vial containing lyophilisate is required.
  • Raw API powder should be supplied as at least 30 mg in a sealed glass vial to protect the sample from moisture.
