Thermo Fisher Scientific: Characterization of mRNA-based therapeutics with (U)HPLC and HRAM mass spectrometry

The successful development of effective mRNA-based vaccines to fight Covid-19 has created a boost in acceptance and application of this strategy for other vaccines and also related drug products. Consequently, the demand to analytically characterize these new modalities has risen, challenging the state-of-the-art analytical approaches to keep pace.

In this webinar we showcase how novel techniques together with modern instrumentation and data analysis software can further the understanding of this new drug class, thereby ensuring the efficacy and safety of the drug product.

The identity and sequence validation of the mRNA after limited endonuclease digestion and mass spectrometric sequence confirmation is demonstrated. Tips and tricks for successful method development and data handling in Biopharma finder software will be presented, including the use of the software to address 5’-Capping and poly(A) tail characterization.

We hope to see you there!
