Let's take a closer look at xTrovert™ XT.<h3>xTrovert™ XT: Automated DNA/RNA Extraction with Maximum Flexibility</h3>The xTrovert™ XT is a compact benchtop system designed for the isolation of DNA and RNA from various biological materials, including blood, tissue, buccal swabs, and plasma (cfDNA and ctDNA). The system includes pre-programmed extraction protocols that can be modified or completely customized by the user.The xTrovert™ XT employs two pipetting heads, serving up to two 96-well plates containing preprepared isolation components. This enables fully automated extraction of 1 to 32 samples per run, without requiring user intervention. Standard 1000 μl tips are used for most DNA or RNA extraction protocols. However, the system also supports 300 μl tips, thanks to the easy interchangeability of pipetting heads. Independent piston-driven channels ensure precise and reproducible pipetting, as each channel operates separately.The system features two magnetic arms for handling paramagnetic beads. A New Definition of Efficient Automation in Your Laboratory with xTrovert™ XT

On February 18, 2025, we gathered at the UIACH premises in Brno with key members of the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://watrex.com/about-atebio-project/?utm_source=labrulez&amp;utm_medium=propagace&amp;utm_campaign=labrulez_clanky">ATEBIO</a> project implementation team. Alongside us (<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://watrex.com/?utm_source=labrulez&amp;utm_medium=propagace&amp;utm_campaign=labrulez_clanky">Watrex Prague</a>), the project involves representatives from the Institute of Analytical Chemistry of the Academy of Sciences of the Czech Republic, the Faculty of Pharmacy of Charles University, the University Hospital in Hradec Králové, and the company Elphogene s.r.o. Automating these processes will significantly speed up workflows and simplify sample handling.
