The Luna C18(2) phase is an octadecyl silane with ligands bound to the silica surface, resulting in a C18 HPLC column with a very hydrophobic stationary phase that offers great methylene selectivity. Luna C18(2) columns enable higher flow rates while maintaining excellent resolution and efficiency. The advanced packing technology ensures consistent, high-performance results across both existing and newer HPLC instrumentation.

Wide pH Stability

Luna C18(2) columns are renowned for their exceptional pH stability, offering a wide operational range from pH 1.5 to 9.0. The wide pH stability of Luna C18 columns allows analysts to work above the pKb of basic compounds, rendering them more hydrophobic. Mobile Phase Compatibility

When using HPLC columns, it's crucial to use HPLC-grade solvents and materials while avoiding immiscible solvent/buffer combinations to prevent column damage. To ensure the highest performance, solvent filtration is strongly recommended to eliminate trace impurities from your chosen mobile phase.
