Phenomenex Lux Cellulose-1 Chiral HPLC ColumnsPhenomenex Lux Cellulose-1 chiral HPLC column offers reliable enantiomer separation, matching or exceeding CHIRALCEL® OD® performance across multiple modes.
Features

Phenomenex Lux Cellulose-1 Chiral HPLC Columns

This universally trusted cellulose phenyl carbamate derivative is absolutely essential to any chiral screen. Lux Cellulose-1 is a guaranteed alternative to CHIRALCEL® OD® and OD-HX. Expect equivalent or better performance when using this Lux phase.

Phenomenex: Lux Cellulose-1Phenomenex: Lux Cellulose-1

  • Separation Mode: Chiral
  • Phase Composition: Regenerated Cellulose (RC)
  • Recommended Use: Separation of enantiomers and racemic mixtures by reversed phase, normal phase, polar organic and SFC with a fully porous particle, coated with a polysaccharide stationary phase.
  • Stationary phase: Cellulose tris(3,5-dimethylphenylcarbamate)

Achieve Greater Chiral Separation Success

Lux Cellulose-1 columns are guaranteed to perform as well or better than the equivalent CHIRALCEL® OD® and OD-H® Chiral Technologies column. Lux phases can also provide alternative selectivity to other chiral selectors for the most challenging chiral separations. Lux columns offer a wide and complementary range of enantioselectivity for even the most difficult chiral separation projects.

The helical structure of the cellulose creates a complex steric environment that provides stronger interactions and better chiral recognition abilities. Additionally, the selector’s constituents produce hydrogen bonding, dipole, and π-π interactions that all affect the CSPs ability to separate your enantiomers effectively.
