Building on this foundation, the course develops practical skills for interpreting LC-ESI spectra: locating the molecular ion, determining charge state, recognizing common adducts, distinguishing in-source artefacts, and using isotope patterns to support elemental-composition hypotheses. Participants then explore how MS/MS fragmentation provides structural clues, with straightforward rules of thumb for neutral losses and class-specific fragmentation behaviors. The course concludes with an integrative exercise that synthesizes chromatographic, full-scan, and MS/MS information to support spectral interpretation. ISC 2026 Short Course 3 - Interpretation of Mass Spectra: Basic Introduction for Chromatographers

<p><strong>Eurachem and CITAC welcome analysts interested in the evaluation of chemical analysis uncertainty and in how to use this information in results interpretation. The Eurachem Week 2026 will begin with a training course on “Evaluation of the measurement uncertainty from in-house precision and recovery data” scheduled for Sunday, 10 May 2026. A two-days workshop on “Quality in Analytical Measurements: Uncertainty Evaluation and Results Interpretation” open to all interested participants will take place from 11 to 12 May 2026. On 13 May 2026, the Eurachem Working Groups will convene, followed by the Eurachem General Assembly, which will bring together the Executive and national delegates on 14 and 15 May. Both Working Group Meetings and the General Assembly are restricted to their members.</strong></p><p>The results of qualitative and quantitative chemical analyses should have an acceptable uncertainty, which should ideally be reported and considered in results interpretation.</p><p>For many analytical applications, simplified uncertainty evaluations can determine uncertainty values that meet the defined requirements for this parameter. The workshop will focus on the key technical challenges involved in practical evaluations of measurement uncertainty based on precision and recovery data gathered during in-house method validation and quality control. There will be a discussion of how to model the variation of the measurement uncertainty within the analytical range and how to handle divergent recovery values from the analysis of various reference materials. <p><strong>The Alltesta™ Mini Liquid Handling Station serves as an affordable, reliable solution for automated sample handling. With its compact design, proprietary alpha/beta mechanical structure, and adjustable operation speeds, it offers comprehensive control for quick and seamless integration with other equipment. The station comes equipped with a built-in sample shaking feature for in-vial sample mixing and extraction, and a needle washing station capable of accommodating up to four solvents.</strong></p>
<p>Designed with Original Equipment Manufacturer (OEM) customization in mind, the Alltesta™ Mini Liquid Handling Station can be tailored to fit any system’s requirements. Custom needle lengths and trays enable the device to accommodate various types of vials. An array of integrated valves and a measuring syringe can be added to the device. Additional customization options, such as metal-free flow paths and customer-specified enclosure colors, are also available.</p>
<p>Comprehensive software integration support is provided to ensure smooth operation and functionality.</p>

<p><strong>Samplify™ Is a device which allows unattended sampling of a reaction mixture or bioprocess or continue in line flow by taking small amount of liquid from the monitoring mixture and collecting it in a vial or a 96 wells plate. It also allows to dilute the sample with assigned dilution ratio and can provide reaction quenching to preserve the sample state at time of sampling. It has two main components: an autosampler and a probe. The Samplify™ &nbsp;controlled and setup by a PC software.</strong></p><h3><strong>Description</strong></h3><p>It is a common task in the lab to <strong>periodically sample a reactor</strong> or a fermenter to <strong>obtain information about reaction kinetic, completion and have a tangible representation of intermediate states of a dynamic process</strong>. This usually done manually with pipettes or syringes, using stopwatch to measure time and requires to be in the lab during the entire process.</p><p><strong>With Samplify it can be done in automated mode.</strong> When an automated sampling process is used it increases accuracy, safety, and productivity. It reduces potential samples cross contamination, and exposure of the reaction mixture to oxygen or moisture, when anaerobic or moisture free conditions are required.</p><ul><li>Based on a proprietary alpha/beta mechanical configuration, <strong>Alltesta Miniature Autosampler</strong> and patent pending sample probe offers affordable and reliable <strong>automation</strong> <strong>for many analytical and liquid-handling applications</strong>.&nbsp;</li><li>Small <strong>controllable volume of sample</strong> can be programmed and precisely removed from the <strong>enclosed or open system</strong>. The sample will then be transferred to a vial with inert solvent with measured volume to create a <strong>controllable dilution factor</strong>.</li><li><strong>A quench solution can be automatically preloaded</strong> in each vial to provide termination of reaction or biological process, and preserve sample content in the time of probing.</li><li>In order to effectively mix samples with diluents or quenching reagents a <strong>shaking capability</strong> of the autosampler tray can be initiated after each sample cycle.</li><li><strong>PC based software</strong> allows quick, but flexible, setup of the sampling experiment. Several <strong>preloaded methods</strong> can be quickly adapted to a particular needs of the user.</li><li>For temperature sensitive samples the entire autosampler can be placed in the <strong>temperature controlled</strong> environment.</li><li>The device <strong>small size</strong> allow to place it close to the reactor and use <strong>short connection lines</strong> to minimize dispersion. PBI Barocycler 2320EXT Sample Preparation System

The Barocycler 2320EXT is a compact, bench top instrument that can process up to 16 samples simultaneously using PCT MicroTubes.

<h4><strong>For the PCT-HD Sample Preparation System</strong></h4><p><strong>Pressure Cycling Technology</strong> (<strong>PCT</strong>) is a unique, patented technology platform based on repeated cycles of hydrostatic pressure between ambient (14.7 psi) and ultra-high levels.
