<h4>2nd Annual International NETPHARM Conference: From Cutting-Edge Equipment to Excellent Results at the Midpoint of the Project</h4>On 15–16 April 2026, the second annual international conference of the project “New Technologies for Translational Research in Pharmaceutical Sciences” (NETPHARM) took place in Kudowa-Zdrój, Poland. Prof. Kateřina Vávrová presented on pharmaceutical and analytical chemistry (RO1), while progress in pharmacology and toxicology (RO2) was summarized by Prof. František Štaud. Prof. Martin Hrubý presented results in the field of novel drug delivery systems and formulations (RO3), and Assoc. Prof. Daniela Fialová (RO4) introduced research in geriatric clinical pharmacy focused on systematic literature reviews, algorithms for individualized pharmacotherapy, and pilot deprescribing interventions. Evaluation of activities in advanced in vitro and in silico approaches in drug development (RO5) was presented by Assoc. Prof. Tomáš Smutný. The ISAB appreciated the dynamic collaboration among institutions such as Charles University (Faculty of Pharmacy and Faculty of Medicine in Hradec Králové), the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://lcms.labrulez.com/companies/11">University of Chemistry and Technology in Prague</a>, institutes of the <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://lcms.labrulez.com/companies/10">Czech Academy of Sciences</a> (<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://lcms.labrulez.com/companies/62">IOCB Prague</a> and IMC), and <a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://lcms.labrulez.com/companies/12">Masaryk University</a>/<a target="_blank" rel="noopener noreferrer" href="https://lcms.labrulez.com/companies/36">CEITEC</a>. Among the awardees were Ing. Anna Tvrdá, Mgr. ECOM ECP2200 Preparative Pump

They are designed with 2 pump heads connected in parallel with a piston diameter of 3/8”.&nbsp;Many improvements make these pumps more reliable, including a new learning algorithm for pulsation suppression and a leakage sensor. New material versions have been added-in, beyond to stainless steel A316L, also Hastelloy, titanium and PEEK for biocompatible applications. The pumps can operate in two modes, i.e. using constant pressure or using the newly added option of constant flow rate.&nbsp;<h4>Gradient function:&nbsp;</h4>These pumps work as isocratic pumps, and, together with ECOM gradient boxes, they also work as gradient pumps. Gradient boxes ECB2005, ECB2005PC are equipped with a four-way gradient mixing valve and must be ordered together with the pump. These sophisticated units allow for achieving a precise low-pressure gradient, i.e. gradual changes of solvent composition by mixing up to four liquids at the pump‘s entry. The gradient profile can be defined via a computer or manually using a display and a keypad. Without the use of a gradient box, the pump works as isocratic, with the option of one solvent and the composition of the mobile phase being chosen by the user.Customers can use the pistons‘ back-washing function, after working, for example, with a buffered mobile phase.<h4>Seals:&nbsp;</h4>All pumps are delivered with GFP (PTFE) seals by default. Separtrix PP03 are pulse-less triplex piston pumps designed for preparative chromatography applications - nevertheless, they can be used everywhere, where high pressure, precise flow without pulsations, and high resistance against corrosion are needed. Pumps are equipped with unique compact three-piston head for smooth flow and easy maintenance without a risk of leakage on connecting parts. Back flushed pistons are covered by a hard and chemically resistant polycrystalic carbon layer. Piston cylinders have low dead volume and samples injected through the pump appear low spreading.Pumps with different flow rate ranges differ only in head type, piston diameters, and tubing diameters.
